“The Future Belongs to the Curious” or Why I Do What I Do

Oh man, would I have given anything to come up with that title. “The Future Belongs to the Curious” is a video by One Year Study. There are a lot of videos and films online that try to mimic and exploit the feeling of being in a creative industry, however this video is not one of them. Do yourself a favour and watch it below and the next few paragraphs will make a lot more sense.

As a filmmaker and even as a person, we are always learning, exploring and creating. When we stop doing these things we risk losing it all. We become stale and demotivated, leading to an environment where we no longer feel a passion for what we do.

With most of my video I try and take the perspective of the ordinary person and show the little aspects that most people over look and how they influence the narrative of the video. Showing the world a a fresh pair of eyes and child like sense of wonder, inspiring and uplifting. Capturing the beauty of the unknown, the joy of unexpected and the excitement of the unexplored.

Now, I can’t say a achieve all this this with every video otherwise you would have heard a lot more about me, however by learning, exploring and creating, I can try my best.
